The kitchen and me: At home with Mum

I'm still at my parents' in Italy. It's already cold here in Venice. And it's Saturday morning.

Do you know what it means?

Mum is making homemade chocolate with my granny's super special recipe.

What could be better than this? 

Well, maybe D. surprising me with hot churros directly from Barcelona? Day-dreaming, I know.

Long rows of music in our living room

I'm back to Italy so our plans to decorate our home have to wait, again! Luckily,  we managed to organise a bit of D's cd collection before leaving: the idea is to arrange it in three long lines in our living room but, at the moment, we have only one line completed because we had to order the other shelves and they haven't arrived yet. In the meanwhile, I added some "bits and pieces" that were all around the house. 

Maybe I'll be able to steal some room in the future for them as well! ; )

Arrivederci Venezia

Tonight I will leave my parents' home to go back to Barcelona. I miss my Venice a lot but I cannot really complain about my new city. We still need to get to know each other for real.I leave you with some images taken by Gianni Berengo Gardin.
